We all can easily make out the stale veggies and fruits from the fresh ones. But how many of us take care to check the expiration date or ‘best before’ date when we buy packaged food?

All food items, whether fried or non-fried, have a certain time limit in which they need to be consumed. After that date, it is risky for your health if you eat such a food product. It might cause indigestion or have other side effects.

So check the expiry date every time you buy frozen food or ice-cream or any food item and finish it before that date!

I admit that I am a complete foodie and so is my family! Every Friday morning we all have a heated discussion at the table on what will be the menu for the weekend that mostly starts from Friday evening itself.

I have subscribed to some food-related newsletters that also mail me recipes of different kinds. This is of great help to me in two ways. Firstly, I save on costly recipe books and secondly, I don’t run out of ideas while planning what to cook to make the weekend special!

Try this and you will never be in a dilemma on what dish to cook!

I know of many women who wish to lose some inches, but simply cannot achieve it. Why does this happen even if they are going to a gym?

Though you may be working out regularly, do you control your diet? There are lots of people who finish their stint at the gym and head straight away to have a chicken burger! Also, skipping lunch and then having a heavy dinner is absolutely not advisable.

Those people, who really have a desire to be in shape, must maintain a balanced diet and not have food on their minds all the time.
